*Summer: As summer comes to an end... After taking a deserved break from TLS we are coming back to 'it' with some news on Volume 2. We have 11 tunes lined up. 7 originals and 4 covers. Sessions are being booked for overdubbing and covers are almost mixed and mastered. For Paul Heriot fans, he is remixing his original 'country-horror' tune Blame It On You and we are excited to include it in our next online streaming release. Steve Geller, a well-known bass guitarist for the wildly popular Back To The Garden 1969 band, has recorded his really cool rockabilly sounding original that we hope will also be included. And Freddie Tane has 4 'fan'-tastic originals in the works that span multiple genres. All tunes that land in the Volume 2 online release will be on the Tane Tunes label!
In other news: TLS has coined 'PJQ' which stands for the rating term 'Party Jam Quality'. PJQ simply means that during a TLS jam the control room captures everything played and then with minimal edits, mixing, and mastering it represents the quality of what you would hear if you had been at the jam!
Z is still looking for a decent audio to video program and still thinking about changing this TLS website from single page (scroll) to multiple pages. And, still in the works is a slideshow video highlighting the Vol 1 Release Event from 6/20 and includes a medley of the tunes played that night.
